Return & Refund Policy

1. General Terms

This Return & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made at European Market Pirin and forms part of our store policies and terms of sale.

2. Final Sale Policy

Due to food safety, health regulations, and freshness standards, all food and grocery items are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Dairy products

  • Meat, poultry, and fish

  • Frozen items

  • Pantry and shelf groceries

  • Beverages

  • Baked goods

  • Sweets and snacks

  • Perishable or temperature-sensitive products

3. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, spoiled, or incorrect at the time of purchase:

  • Please notify us within 24 hours of purchase or delivery

  • Provide your receipt or proof of purchase

  • For delivery orders, clear photos of the product and packaging may be required

Each situation is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If the issue is verified, a refund, store credit, or replacement may be offered at our discretion.

4. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original form of payment

  • Processing time may take 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer

  • If you have not received your refund after 15 business days, please contact us

5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds or exchanges will not be provided for:

  • Requests made after 24 hours

  • Items without proof of purchase

  • Products that were handled or stored improperly after purchase

  • Items that were sold correctly and without defect

  • Customer errors (incorrect selection or address for delivery)

6. Risk of Loss

For delivery orders, responsibility for the products transfers to the customer once the order has been handed over to the carrier or local delivery service.

European Market Pirin is not responsible for delays, damage, or spoilage caused during transit once the carrier has accepted the order.

7. State-Specific Notices

  • California Proposition 65 warnings are displayed where required

  • Bottle and can deposit (CRV) may apply depending on state regulations

8. Order Cancellation

Orders may only be canceled before they are prepared or shipped.
Once an order is in processing or has left the store, it cannot be canceled or refunded.
